Ava Matasavage (also known as Ava Larue) is an American Singer-Songwriter-Composer-and conductor. on Kiff, she co-wrote a song with Brad Breeck, while as a college student at Berklee College Of Music. she is also a music mentor at West End House in Boston, Massachusetts.
Having grown up in Los Angeles, Ava Matasavage has always been surrounded by music and entertainment. She gravitated towards music at a young age, beginning to write songs at six years old along with taking piano and guitar lessons. Starting in 2022 she began recording and producing some of these early songs and posting them to social media. One of these songs, 'Who Am I?'has over 48k views on TikTok.
She has always been drawn to film, TV, and the relationship between imagery and music, especially the role of music in animation. Currently, she spends her days composing music, writing songs, and scoring to picture, whether that be short films, social media posts, or advertisements. In 2022 she won Berklee College of Music’s Award for Creativity in Scoring for Advertisingas well as a scholarship. Matasavage currently attends Berklee College of Music and graduated in May 2023 with a Bachelors of Music in Contemporary Writing & Production as well as a minor in Writing for TV & New Media.
In addition to her work scoring, she has a performing artist career under the name Ava LaRue. She has utilized the skills she gained at a music conservatory to blend Indie Folk music with classical instrumentation and modern production techniques. This creates a sound that feels nostalgic and classic while also modern and fresh.
With every piece or song she writes she hopes to create something new and exciting for not only those who listen to it but also for herself. She is constantly trying new techniques and expanding her knowledge musically to fully realize her musical voice. She sincerely hopes her music speaks to you.

She was discovered by Kent Osborne while scrolling through Instagram and see a big band rendition of Perry The Platypus theme and commence her to co-write a song with Brad Breeck.
