"Dr. Doofenshmirtz Takes Over Kiff" is a short in Disney's Theme Song Takeover series, and the third short in the series to be focused on Kiff. It is a crossover with Phineas and Ferb, and features a reinterpretation of the Kiff theme song by Phineas and Ferb character Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz.
Synopsis[]
Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz arrives in Kiff's hometown of Table Town with one goal: turning everyone into an animal version of Doof.
Plot[]
While doing "pre-theme song stretches" in her room, Kiff is interrupted by the arrival of Phineas and Ferb's Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz and a giant Theme Song Takeover logo through a portal. Doofenshmirtz explains that as part of his plan to expand past the Tri-State Area, he has visited Table Town to take over Kiff's theme song. Against Kiff's protests, Doofenshmirtz proceeds to use his "Doof-Inator" device to hijack the Kiff opening sequence, all while turning Kiff's fellow Tabletonians into versions of himself unable to say anything except "Doof".
As Doofenshmirtz prepares to leave through another portal to take over a different theme song, Kiff stops him and demands he change everyone back to normal. Before Doofenshmirtz can leave, Perry the Platypus emerges from the portal and kicks the Doof-Inator into the air. Principal Secretary catches the device, sets it to "Undoof" mode, then fires it, reverting its effects. To get back at Doofenshmirtz, Kiff takes a strand of her fur and gives it to Helen, who adds it to a potion. Helen fires the potion at Doofenshmirtz using a spray gun, turning him into a version of Kiff.

- Kiff: Ah. That's right, Kiff. Get loose. Get limber. [grunts] Don't wanna pull a hammy. Huh?
- Doofenshmirtz: Hello! Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz, comin' at ya!
- Kiff: Ah, bu-bu-bu—but I'm kinda busy doing my pre-theme song stretches.
- Doofenshmirtz: Ah, you can forget about those 'cause I'm taking over your theme song, kid!
- Kiff: It's "Kiff", and why would you wanna do this?
- Doofenshmirtz: Well, Koff—
- Kiff: Still "Kiff".
- Doofenshmirtz: I'm looking to expand past the Tri-State Area. So I thought, what better place to start than Table Town? And what better way to take over a town than by taking over the theme song? So out of my way, squirrel!
- Kiff: [scoffs] The good people of Table Town will never let you get away with this!
- Doofenshmirtz: Oh-ho-ho, yes, they will! When I hit them with the... Doof-Inator! You'll see how it works in a sec. Hit it!
- "Doofed" Barry: Doof?
- "Doofed" Beryl and Martin: Doof, Doof!

- Kiff: [groans] You can't leave them like this! All they can say is "Doof"!

- No!
- Kiff: Didn't I tell you the good people of Table Town would never let you get away with this?
- Helen: Time for a taste of your own medicine! Kiff, if you wouldn't mind.
- Kiff: Oh, I would the opposite of mind, Helen.
- Doofenshmirtz: What are you gonna do to me? Do you know who I am? I'm— I'm— Kiff? Kiff! [gets cut off, mid-scream]

- The short was animated by Australia-based Liquid Animation, and like other Broken Karaoke, Random Rings, Shorts Spectacular, and Theme Song Takeover media, it uses Flash instead of the hand-drawn, digital ink-and-paint style of Kiff.
