"Farley" is the first segment of the seventh episode of the first season of Kiff. It is the thirteenth segment overall.
Synopsis[]
When Kiff ruins Kristophe's favorite toy, she takes its place while Barry tries to clean the doll.
Plot[]
While babysitting Kristophe with Barry, Kiff accidentally stains Kristophe's beloved doll Farley with mustard, then makes the stain worse by attempting to get the mustard off using ketchup, more mustard, mayonnaise, and peanut butter. To prevent Kristophe from noticing the food-stained doll, Kiff has Barry take Farley to Helen to get her to remove the stain with magic, while Kiff dresses up as Farley and pretends to be the doll in the meantime.
Kiff endures being dragged around the house by Kristophe while trying to remain silent and motionless. Barry visits Helen, who is annoyed by his request but agrees to take him to see her sister Agnes, who works as a dry cleaner. Upstairs in Kristophe's room, Kiff observes Kristophe drawing a picture of Farley diving into a glass of water. Upon looking out the window and seeing a glass of water on the ground below, Kiff realizes that Kristophe intends to push her out the window.
Barry arrives at Wish Wash, Agnes' dry cleaning store. Agnes is happy to help, but when Barry mentions that he is there on Helen's recommendation, she changes her mind and tells him to leave. Overhearing this from outside, Helen enters and taunts Agnes by telling Barry that Agnes does not like helping people, to which Agnes retorts that she only refuses to help selfish people. The sisters continue bickering, so Barry, whose aunt is a couples counselor, offers to mediate. Just as Kristophe is about to push Kiff out the window, Kiff gets the idea to pretend that Farley has magically come to life.
Helen and Agnes manage to resolve their differences thanks to Barry's counseling. Kiff has a fun day with Kristophe, which makes her realize just how much Farley means to him. At the end of the day, Barry returns with the dry cleaned doll. Kiff, as Farley, tells Kristophe that the magic will be wearing off soon and Farley will return to normal, but that they will always be friends. They then play one last game of hide-and-seek together. While Kristophe hides, Kiff takes off her costume and Barry substitutes the actual doll in Kiff's place.
Later that night, Barry finds himself having to settle another dispute between Helen and Agnes over the phone, as the sisters are now arguing over who loves the other more. Kristophe gives Kiff a drawing of himself hugging Kiff in her Farley costume, then gives Kiff a hug.
