"Foreverangees" is the second segment of the twenty-fifth episode of the first season of Kiff. It is the fiftieth segment overall.
Synopsis[]
A curse puts friendships to the ultimate test, and Kiff and Barry's relationship is in trouble.
Plot[]
Kiff and Barry's class is camping at the Foreverangees National Park, chaperoned by Miss Deer Teacher and Principal Secretary. At the heart of the park is a small island with twin rock formations which resemble two giants with their backs turned to each other. That night, Miss Deer Teacher recounts the legend behind the supposed curse of the park: long ago, the park was the dwelling place of two giants who were best friends, but after having a disagreement, they refused to face each other and eventually turned into the rock formations on the island, bringing about a curse that causes friendships to be ruined in the park.
The next day, everyone kayaks to the island. Though Principal Secretary advises the students not to take anything, Kiff and Barry take two pebbles from the island as mementos. On the way back, the others begin arguing among themselves and turning to stone in positions similar to the rock formations, leaving only Kiff and Barry unchanged. The two realize that the curse is real and assume that they unleashed it by taking the pebbles. Barry insinuates that he told Kiff not to take the pebbles, but then recognizes that this is a false memory that the curse has implanted in his head to make him argue with Kiff.
After bringing the others to shore, Kiff and Barry kayak back to the island to return the pebbles and undo the curse. On the way there, the two struggle to resist the curse's effects, and by the time they reach the island, they cannot stand each other. Though they successfully return the pebbles, Kiff and Barry continue arguing and eventually turn their backs to each other, causing them to start turning to stone. They then come to their senses and exchange apologies, only to realize that the curse is still active and they are turning to stone. Before they are completely transformed, the two manage to face each other and embrace. By doing so, they break the curse, reverting everyone back to normal. Kiff and Barry return to the others, who have no idea what transpired and assume that they were only asleep.
Kenny is then seen kayaking in the river. He is confused to see that the rock formations, instead of facing away from each other, are now locked in an embrace.
