Forlington Slarvly is an actress best known for her role as Marlina Deena Turina on Smoldering Cove, a popular soap opera in Table Town. As noticed by Kiff in "Soup Opera", the Marlina Deena Turina character has much in common with Miss Deer Teacher, including similar initials, mannerisms, and physical traits. Martin describes Marlina as a "hopeless romantic".

Slarvly and her Smoldering Cove co-star Ridgeway Burlington make guest appearances at the grand opening of the Hungee Squirrel in "Hungee Squirrel". In "Fun Uncle Pat", she is seen on the reality TV show Celebrity Has-Been Pillow Fights.
