"Ghost Wolf's Art" is the second segment of the fifteenth episode of the first season of Kiff. It is the thirtieth segment overall.
Synopsis[]
Kiff and Barry try to learn more about the mysterious Ghost Wolf.
Plot[]
While rewatching the video for "Totally Table Town", Kiff recalls that she and her friends never thanked Ghost Wolf for rescuing them, so she and Barry return to Ghost Wolf's cave to meet him again. After experiencing various surreal phenomena inside, they eventually stumble upon a revolving entrance leading to Ghost Wolf's quarters, which turn out to be quite elegant-looking. Hanging on the wall is a detailed painting of Kiff, Barry, Candle, Reggie, Renée, and Trevor on the night of their rescue, which Kiff and Barry are amazed by.
Ghost Wolf, who has been exercising on his treadmill, approaches Kiff and Barry, revealing he can actually speak verbally. When asked by Kiff, Ghost Wolf confirms the painting is his work. She suggests he hold an exhibition of his paintings, but Ghost Wolf says the world is not ready to see his art. Kiff then commissions ten paintings from him for her personal collection, which he agrees to paint in exchange for one rare fern per painting, as he enjoys gardening.
On their way back, Kiff reveals to Barry that she plans to a host an art show on Ghost Wolf's behalf to convince him that the world is ready for his art. As part of the plan, Barry visits Ghost Wolf the next day to assist him as his apprentice. Seeing that Ghost Wolf is suffering from artist's block, Barry suggests that Ghost Wolf can find inspiration by observing people, just as he did for his earlier painting. They fly downtown, where Ghost Wolf phases himself and Barry inside different buildings to secretly observe people's everyday lives. Meanwhile, Kiff pretends to be Ghost Wolf's agent and reserves the Serious Art Gallery for the art show, then stops by the cave to collect the completed paintings from Ghost Wolf. Before leaving, she hands him an envelope and tells him to visit the listed address at 7:00 p.m. to claim his ferns at a plant nursery.
That night, Ghost Wolf arrives at the address and discovers that he is actually at the gallery, where his art show is taking place. The paintings are well received by the audience until the subjects of the paintings take offense upon seeing themselves depicted doing embarrassing private activities. Ghost Wolf phases himself, Kiff, and Barry outside to escape the angry crowd, and Kiff apologizes to him for the trouble. However, they then look inside and see the crowd in a good mood, bonding over the embarrassing activities shown in the paintings. The three return inside, where Kiff has the audience applaud Ghost Wolf, then auctions the paintings for rare ferns.
The next day, while watering his plants with Kiff and Barry in his cave, Ghost Wolf invites Barry to continue being his apprentice in the summer and reveals that he has taken up sculpting as well.

Trivia[]
- Opening sponsor: Art.
- In one scene, Barry and Ghost Wolf are seen sitting on the billboard from the episode's own title card.
Cultural references[]
- The episode's title card parodies Vincent van Gogh's Self-Portrait with Bandaged Ear.
- The scene of Kiff criticizing various art pieces of the gallery parodies a scene involving the character Frank Reynolds of the TV series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia in Season 11 Episode 4; Frank used a fake name (Ango Gablogian), and donned a wig and demeanor similar to the famed pop artist Andy Warhol, whilst criticizing the works on display in an art gallery.
Continuity[]
- The events of "Totally Table Town" are revisited. Kiff is seen rewatching her music video about Table Town, while Ghost Wolf is revealed to have created a painting of Kiff and her friends following his encounter with them. Ghost Wolf's interest in painting was previously mentioned in a caption at the end of "Totally Table Town".
- Kiff's self-portrait from "Big Barry on Campus" reappears and is revealed to now be hanging in the Serious Art Gallery.
