Kristophe Buns is a supporting character in the series Kiff. He is Mary Buns' fourth and youngest child, and Harry Buns, Terri Buns, and Barry Buns' younger brother.

Kristophe Buns is the fourth and youngest child of Mary Buns and lives with his mother, older brothers Harry and Barry, and older sister Terri in their home in suburban Table Town. Being a toddler, Kristophe is not yet able to speak and generally stays silent, apart from making occasional wordless sounds. He can mostly be found staying at home under the supervision of his mother or older siblings, and playing with his beloved stuffed doll Farley, who was originally owned by Harry.[2]
Appearance[]
Kristophe is a bunny with pink fur, as well as light pink fur on his belly, and a small and fluffy white tail. He has large round eyes with small pupils, a pink oval-shaped nose, chubby cheeks, and a buck tooth. Notably, Kristophe, unlike the rest of his family, has only a single ear.

Kristophe is often seen engaging in typical activities for a child his age, such as drawing and playing around the house. He also enjoys watching the TableToob Kidzz channel Cool Baby on his tablet.[3] Kristophe is never far from his stuffed doll Farley, which he treats as his best friend and is fiercely protective of. According to Barry, Kristophe refuses to eat any snacks served to him unless Farley is served a snack as well.[1]
Despite his generally infantile demeanor, Kristophe has at times shown signs of being quite mature for his age. At the end of "Farley", Kiff is surprised to learn that Kristophe was never actually fooled by her disguising herself as Farley in the doll's absence, but simply played along with her ruse. He also has the peculiar ability to fold a candy wrapper perfectly into an origami-style hat.[2]

Barry Buns and Kiff Chatterley[]

During her sleepover at the Buns home in "The Fourth Bath", Kiff finds herself having to ask Kristophe for Farley so that she can trade the doll to Harry in exchange for Harry's place in the bathroom line that night. When Kristophe refuses, Kiff distracts him with a candy wrapper and switches Farley with a decoy. Kristophe later realizes this and ends up violently attacking Harry to retrieve Farley.
In "Farley", Barry babysits Kristophe with the assistance of Kiff, who accidentally stains Farley with food, to Barry's horror. While Barry has the doll cleaned, Kiff dresses up as Farley and pretends to be the doll come to life in order to prevent Kristophe from discovering what transpired. After spending the day playing with Kristophe, Kiff, who had initially been perplexed by Kristophe's treatment of the inanimate Farley as a friend, realizes how much Farley means to Kristophe. Kristophe later presents Kiff with a drawing of himself hugging Kiff in her Farley costume – revealing that he knew he was playing with Kiff the entire time – and gives Kiff a hug.
Barry and Kiff babysit Kristophe again in "Maybe-sitting". When Kristophe sneaks off to play with Farley in a closet, Kiff and Barry panic over his disappearance and are led to believe that Kristophe dug an underground tunnel, which they then try to intercept. After this inadvertently leads to Kiff recovering the lost keys to Mary's hot rod, Mary offers Kiff a fixed gig as Kristophe's babysitter.
In "Kristophe's Big Day Out", Kiff and Barry take Kristophe to the Table Town Aquarium to meet Lil' Ouchie Boo Boo, after unsuccessfully trying to make Kristophe interested in Lil' Ouchie's TV show while babysitting him at home. Kristophe shows little interest in Lil' Ouchie during the visit, but at the end of the episode, he shows a potential interest in Lil' Ouchie, sticking Kiff's Lil' Ouchie sticker on the back of his tablet. In "Ye Olde Candy Shoppe of Horrors", Kiff and Barry babysit Kristophe on Halloween, and the three end up being sent back 200 years in time due to an ancient curse.
Mary, Harry, and Terri Buns[]

Mary dotes on Kristophe like a typical mother and can often be seen cradling him in her arms. When Mary leaves the house, she asks her other children, and sometimes Kiff, to babysit Kristophe.
In "Maybe-sitting", Mary assigns Harry and Terri to babysit Kristophe, but the two do not take the job very seriously. Later, however, they panic upon being told that Kristophe has gone missing, even trashing the house to search for him.

Trivia[]
- He is the only member of the Buns family whose first name does not rhyme with "airy".
- No mention is made in the series of the Buns siblings' father. However, in "Is Patty a Baddie?", a partially obscured photo of what appears to be a mustachioed rabbit can be seen on the fridge in the Buns residence.
Production[]
- His appearance is somewhat similar to that of the one-eared rabbit Bongo from Matt Groening's comic strip Life in Hell. Kiff creators Lucy Heavens and Nic Smal were big fans of Groening's work, including The Simpsons, as children, and they have cited Groening as an influence on Kiff.
