Movies need to make... money, honey.
Roy Fox, "Principal Helen"
Roy Fox is a supporting character in the series Kiff. He is the head of the film and TV production company Foxhole Productions, and the father of Candle Fox.
Profile[]
Roy's favorite portrait of himself.
Roy Fox is a popular media personality in Table Town who runs the company Foxhole Productions, which has produced numerous popular films and TV series. Roy is especially prominent in the realm of reality TV, masterminding shows such as Table Town Has Talent, Table Town's Cringiest Wannabes, The 5 Jerks!, and Dancing on the Tables. He is the father of Candle Fox, whose mother he is divorced from,[3] and he lives with his daughter in a mansion in suburban Table Town.
Appearance[]
Roy is a fox with red fur, as well as patches of cream fur on his face and tail, and patches of light red fur on his stomach and the insides of his ears. He also has bushy black eyebrows, which are revealed to be fake in "Ghost Wolf's Art". For clothing, Roy is typically seen wearing a gray turtleneck sweater.
Personality[]

Roy conducts himself like a typical showbiz bigwig, displaying a brash and assertive personality. As an entertainment professional, he is very business-minded, and at times, he can be rather callous when it comes to his work. He shows no empathy, for instance, when Kiff points out the demeaning premise of Table Town's Cringiest Wannabes,[4] and at one point he nearly acquired Table Town Middle School to convert it into a free filming location.[5] In "Troubles Wubbington", he unceremoniously fires Chubbles Wubbington from Jaw & Order over a salary dispute and casts Martin Chatterley in the film instead, though he comes to regret his decision and eventually apologizes to and rehires Chubbles.

Nonetheless, Roy also has a more amiable and compassionate side, especially when dealing with Candle, whom he often spoils. In "Trevor's Rockin' Halloween Bash", Roy befriends a cluster of spiders and together they assist Kiff and Barry in defeating Scarm Scaremly. Since then, Roy has let the spiders live in his mansion,[2] and also does fun activities with them such as laser tag.[6] In "Snow More Ketchup", Roy lets Kiff and Barry's families, along with Reggie, Helen, and the Pone, take shelter in his mansion during a raging snowstorm, allowing them to stay for as long as necessary and help themselves to the mansion's ample food and supplies – though he draws the line at sharing his rare and expensive ketchup with them, leading Kiff, Barry, Candle, and Reggie to search the mansion for Roy and the ketchup.
Relationships[]

In "Pool Party", Kiff passes herself off as an entertainment executive at Candle's birthday party and acquaints herself with Roy to secure Helen an audition with him. However, when Kiff sabotages Helen's TV shoot to prevent her from being humiliated on Table Town's Cringiest Wannabes, Roy has Kiff thrown out of the party with Barry, and the two end up being featured on the show.
Kiff and Barry have subsequently found themselves involved in Roy's productions from time to time. When Roy's TV shows suffer a ratings slump in "The Five Pigeons of the Acapellapocalypse", Kiff gives him the idea for The 5 Jerks!, which becomes a hit. Roy later features Kiff and her Table Town Middle School friends on Dancing on the Tables at Candle's request in "Principal Dance Socks". In "Blooper Quest", Candle brings Kiff's self-made film Found in Ambiguity to Roy's attention, and he is so impressed that he finances Kiff's professional reshoot of the film.
Candle Fox[]

Roy loves and pampers Candle, who enjoys an extravagant lifestyle and feels comfortable asking him for anything she likes. He is also very protective of her, and keeps track of her whereabouts via a parental monitoring app on her smartwatch.[2] In "Principal Dance Socks", Candle convinces Roy to feature her school on Dancing on the Tables to give them the upper hand in their rivalry with Tuft Pierre.
