Slim Pickins is a grocery store located in downtown Table Town. It has a Western theme, and its mascot, Slimmy P, is a corncob dressed in cowboy clothing. The store's employees include Diane and Gordon.
The store first appears in (and is the opening sponsor for) "Halfway There Day". In "Weekly Grocery Shop", the Chatterleys visit Slim Pickins for their weekly grocery shopping, with Martin trying to shop without a shopping list, Beryl collecting coupons to win a chance to play the store's antique crane game, and Kiff trying to get free food samples from the child-hating Gordon. In the resulting chaos, Gordon is turned into a child by Helen, and the store's Slimmy P statue inexplicably comes to life.

- The store's name references Slim Pickens, an actor and rodeo performer best known for his portrayals of cowboys. Pickens himself derived his stage name from the expression "slim pickings".
