Table Town City Hall is a recurring location in the series Kiff. It is Table Town's main government building, located at the center of the city.
Background[]
Table Town City Hall is the chief administrative building of Table Town. Located at the center of Table Town, the building is managed by Glarbin Gloobin, Table Town's city manager.
Four unnamed employees also work at City Hall. They briefly quit their jobs in "Career Day" due to their dissatisfaction with Glarbin's dull and bureaucratic managerial style. In the same episode, Kiff and Barry get summer jobs at City Hall, where they secretly defy Glarbin by shredding all their paperwork to get maintenance work done around Table Town faster. When word gets around about Kiff and Barry's helpful deeds, the four employees are inspired to resume working at City Hall.
Locations[]
Office area[]
The first floor is mostly devoted to office space, and also contains a pantry area for employees.
Glarbin's office[]
Glarbin has his own office on the first floor. Inside, he has a personal "gargling room". Glarbin's office also doubles as the city's lost and found office.
Prior to "Lost and Found", none of the lost items in the room had ever been reclaimed, so Glarbin, concerned about the bad optics of having a 0% rate of found items, decreed that any item not claimed by the end of the business day becomes property of the state, and is thus no longer technically lost. Eventually, the lost items are all reclaimed when Kiff and Barry make Table Town aware that Glarbin, as a result of this policy, has been using the items for himself.
Archive[]
The archive is a large room on the first floor where accomplished forms are stored away. It formerly contained virtually all of the official paperwork ever processed in the city's history, including the Table Town Constitution, until Kiff and Barry shredded the room's contents in "Career Day".
Meeting room[]
The meeting room is where Glarbin presides over town hall meetings.
