Table Town Public Library

The Table Town Public Library is a recurring location in the series Kiff. It is Table Town's local public library.

Background[]

The Table Town Public Library is Table Town's local public library. Miss Moufflé serves as its librarian. The library has its own book club, of which Kiff, Barry, Renée, Reggie, and Patty are members.

In "Club Book", Kiff, in retaliation for being shushed by Miss Moufflé, gets herself installed as the library's new librarian by Glarbin. She then declares it a loud library, but this quickly backfires and she ends up ceding her position back to Moufflé, who restores silence to the library.

Library area[]

The main library area spans two floors. In addition to numerous shelves of books, it contains various reading areas and a computer area. Miss Moufflé's desk is found at the center of the first floor.

Hush room[]

The basement contains a soundproof "hush room" which is stocked with silencing equipment in case of "shushmergencies". Since "Club Book", it has also served as a reading area for loud readers such as Kiff. The room is secured with an electronic lock that uses "shushing identification" technology to authenticate users.
