"The Chibi Quiz Challenge" is the first episode of the second season of the Disney animated TV series Chibiverse. It features appearances by characters from Kiff and various other Disney series, and is hosted by Kiff Chatterley.
Synopsis[]
Everyone's favorite fun-loving squirrel, Kiff, hosts a game show challenging Chibis to answer questions based on some of their favorite adventures.
Plot[]
Kiff hosts a game show called The Chibi Quiz Challenge, in which three contestants – Marcy Wu from Amphibia, Suga Mama Proud from The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, and Launchpad McQuack from DuckTales (replacing Flintheart Glomgold, who is disqualified at the beginning of the show after admitting his willingness to cheat) – must correctly answer questions about Chibi Tiny Tales shorts for a chance to win the grand prize of one million Chibi coins.
After five rounds of questions – which are complicated by Suga Mama's sassiness, Launchpad's slow-mindedness, and Marcy experiencing numerous technical difficulties and accidents – Launchpad wins the show, but the grand prize goes missing. The thief is caught and revealed to be Glomgold, who is shocked to learn from Kiff that the coins are not money, but arcade tokens. Launchpad recovers the coins and shares them with everyone, and as a bonus prize, he is also awarded a van obtained (without permission) from Hamster & Gretel's Kevin Grant-Gomez. Launchpad gets into the van with Kevin and immediately damages it.

Cultural references[]
- Kiff's game show is heavily based off the TV game show Jeopardy!, which similarly features three competing players. However, the mechanics of Jeopardy! are reversed: in the parody, players are expected to simply provide an answer to a given question, whereas in the actual show, an answer in the form of a clue is given and players must give the correct response in the form of a question.
- Players must use a buzzer to respond, which functions identically to the handheld buzzers used in Jeopardy!, but is in the form of a large button in the parody. Each player also has their own lectern, similar to the ones used in Jeopardy! from the 37th season onward.
- The lecterns in the parody are functionally similar to the ones in Jeopardy!, displaying the points amount for each player in the first two rounds and in the final round, their written response, though it does not display the name of the player in the parody.
- At times, Kiff allows a player who correctly responded to the last question to play a minigame, and that player can choose to either keep their current prize or risk it to win a higher-value prize. This is functionally similar to the "Daily Double" mechanic in Jeopardy!, where the player who uncovers a "Daily Double" clue (and that player alone) then wagers a monetary amount of their choosing, and gains or loses that amount depending on their response to the clue.
- A panel of judges is seen debating whether to accept Suga Mama's response of a "duck-billed fool" when describing the clue about Launchpad (as a silhouette) before accepting her response. A similar thing can happen on Jeopardy! where, if a response is deemed somewhat ambiguous at first, a judging panel (albeit offscreen) will decide whether to credit or penalize the player for their response, or if the player needs to provide a more specific response.
- The final round is a written round, similar to the "Final Jeopardy!" round, where the players have 30 seconds to write down the correct response.
- The Blorko minigame is a parody of the Plinko game from the TV game show The Price Is Right.
Production[]
- A cut scene featured Hamster speaking to Libby Stein-Torres from The Ghost and Molly McGee, with Amity Blight from The Owl House standing nearby.[1]
