"The Singalong Song" is a song from the Kiff episode "Road Trip".
The song is a favorite of Martin's, but is strongly disliked by Kiff. Martin commences family road trips by ringing his miniature gong as a cue for everyone to sing the song. It is thought that if one does not sing along to the song, things will go terribly wrong.
In "Road Trip", it is sung by Martin, Beryl, Kiff, and Barry before the road trip, then reprised twice: first by Martin, Beryl, and Barry on the road, then by all four (at a much faster tempo) while they are being chased through the desert by the Fender Bender Menders.
Lyrics[]
Main song[]
- Martin, Beryl, Kiff, and Barry: This is a song, it's a sing-a-long song
- It's a song you can sing along to if you want
- But if you don't sing along when you hear the gong
- Things will go wrong,
- Terribly wrong!
- Just sing along to the sing-a-long song
- 'Cause the journey is long and the curse is strong
- Martin, Beryl, and Barry: So never leave a sing-a-long song unsung
- Beware...
- The unsung sing-a-long song!

- Barry: Terribly wrong!
- Martin and Beryl: Just sing along to the sing-a-long song
