"Two Truths and a Bunny" is the first segment of the twelfth episode of the first season of Kiff. It is the twenty-third segment overall.
Synopsis[]
Kiff's plan to infiltrate a group sleepover and learn its secrets all depends on Barry's ability to lie.
Plot[]
Candle walks into the school cafeteria with her clique, the Abras, and announces that she will be inviting someone to her sleepover that night to replace Lizette, one of the Abras, who is sick with drooptail. Barry is surprised to see Kiff styling her face to look good in front of Candle, as he assumed that Kiff and Candle were "adversaries". Kiff admits that she only wants to get invited so she can learn the meaning behind the Abras' name, which nobody knows except the Abras themselves. Candle points to Barry and tells him he is invited, but addresses him as "Kiff". Kiff and Barry interpret this to mean that they are both invited.
Later, Candle lets both Kiff and Barry into her mansion, explaining her earlier mix-up by admitting that she sometimes confuses the two, as they are "kinda one person". Kiff and Barry have a meal and play sleepover games with Candle and her fellow Abras, Billiam and Kennedy. Afterwards, Kiff asks Candle how the Abras came up with their name, promising that she and Barry will keep the answer a secret. Candle decides to test them through a game of two truths and a lie; while Kiff manages well, Barry is unable to convincingly lie. Candle decides that neither of them can know the answer, as Barry cannot be trusted to keep a secret and Kiff cannot be trusted to keep the answer secret from Barry.
When Terri arrives to deliver some pizzas, Kiff and Barry learn that Terri lied about her age to get a job, so they ask her to teach Barry to lie. She has Barry practice lying in front of her and points out everything that gives away his lies, which Kiff compiles into a list for Barry. Back inside, the children continue the game, but Barry once again fails at lying. During Kennedy's turn, however, Barry, having memorized the list, deduces that all three of her statements are lies. Kennedy admits that not only is Barry right, but that she is a compulsive liar whose real name is Kim.
Candle applauds Kim for being "the best liar ever", which outrages Kiff, who feels that Barry deserves the praise more. As Kiff and Barry leave, he bumps into a table with a candelabra on it, causing them to realize how the Abras coined their name: "Candle" and "Abra" put together makes "candelabra".
